What is the British equivalent of African-American when referring to dark-skinned residents? I have asked whether “African-British” exists, and the answer is no, but an acceptable term seemingly does not exist.
Great speaker
If Kamil has a million fans, then I am one of them. If Kamil has ten fans, then I am one of them. If Kamil has only one fan then that is me. If Kamil has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against Kamil, then I am against the world.
My wife is Fillipino and she didn't come to the U.S. until she was in her 30's. She has pronoun trouble, particularly between he and she because in her native language, Illongo, and I think think the lingua franca of the Philippines, Tagalog (though I could be wrong about Tagalog), the pronouns are not gendered. But she is constantly saying he when referring to a woman or she when referring to a man because it doesn't come natural for her.
I am 40 and I use like. I probably don't use it as much as a 20 year old, but I used it in my youth and I have continued to use it. I don't think 20 years ago when I was forty we used the word as much, the word was on the rise, and I used it more than my parents, but maybe less than today. I have continued to use it.
audio is extremely low

How can you justify the ownership of land by my family, labeled as "prisoners of war" during the era of slavery? This land, passed down through generations, was allegedly only obtainable by men at that time, yet it was owned by a black woman. Despite some members of my family being labeled as slaves, there is no evidence of African ancestry. However, there is evidence of black individuals migrating from Ireland, linked to a castle on my grandmother's side. Additionally, on my father's side, they are descendants of the Lenape and Delawares, labeled as Negroes on official documents due to bureaucratic decisions. The preservation of our family Bible, passed down through generations, provides precise records of births and deaths. Can you clarify why individuals were designated as slaves despite evidence to the contrary?
